General

New attribute: Haste

Haste is a new secondary attribute that improves attack speed, casting time and cooldowns of some spells. Maximum possible Haste — 100%.

100% Haste reduces timings by half. For example, 1.5 second cast/cooldown becomes 0.75.

Haste rating is another new secondary attribute related to Haste. Haste rating increases Haste. Its value based on Hero level. At 40th level 6.75 Haste rating gives 1% Haste.

DOTA's familiar attack speed is no longer used.

Attack Power changes

  • Primary attribute no longer gives bonus attack damage (was 1 damage per 5 stats).
  • Attack Power calculation reworked:
    Old: Hero's attack damage + modifiers = AP
    New: Hero's primary attribute * 2 + modifiers = AP  
  • Attack Power now gives bonus attack damage for each 4 points multiplied by base attack time.

Classes

New class: Fighter

Feature: While in fight, Fighters restores 2 mana every second. Auto-attacks and taking damage also restore 1-3 mana.

Sectarians

  • The Second Seal: movespeed bonus decreased from 14% to 10%.
  • The Second Seal: now gives 30% Haste instead of attack speed.
  • Vampiric Strike: Attack Power damage decreased from 65% to 45%.
  • Vampiric Strike: cooldown now is affected by Haste.
  • Boiling Blood: drain Attack Power value decreased from 210% to 125%.
  • Touch of Darkness: Attack Power damage decreased from 55% to 32.5%.
  • Touch of Darkness cooldown now is affected by Haste.
  • Devouring Necrosis: Attack Power damage decreased from 380% to 75%.

Heroes

Bloodseeker

  • Specialty: Blood Shield can no longer absorb damage greater than its capacity.
  • Specialty: added new property Vampiric Strike restores 12% of Blood Shield.
  • Blood For Blood: Attack Power damage decreased from 115% to 60%.
  • Blood Rite: base damage rescaled from 20/24/28/32/36 to 8/16/24/32/40.
  • New Tier I Talent: Deep Sprinkling
    Increases Blood Rite duration by 2 seconds.
  • New Tier II Talent: Territory of Abhorrence
    You restore 3% of Blood Shield every second while in Blood Rite range.

Juggernaut

  • Juggernaut now is in Fighter class.
  • Whirlwind of Blades: removed max targets limit (was 3).
  • Whirlwind of Blades now has 3 charges. 6 seconds replenish time.
  • Whirlwind of Blades now cannot deal damage more than once every 1.5 seconds.
  • New Tier II Talent: Decimator's Zeal
    Decreases the replenish time of Whirlwind of Blades Charges by 1 second.

Omnipriest

  • Healing Light: base heal increased from 15/30/45/60/75 to 50/70/90/110/130.
  • Healing Light: Spell Power heal decreased from 205% to 170%.
  • Healing Light: no longer resets cooldown on successful cast.
  • Healing Light: cooldown now is affected by Haste.
  • Healing Light: cast time now is affected by Haste.
  • Pure Retribution: added visual effect.
  • Pure Retribution: self-heal now deals 50% less damage.
  • Prayer of Salvation: cast time now is affected by Haste.
  • Prayer of Salvation: Spell Power heal decreased from 250/270/290/310% to 195/200/205/210%.

Queen of Outlaw

  • Base attack time decreased from 1.7 to 1.3.

Items

Poorman's Gloves

  • Now gives 20 Haste rating instead of 20% attack speed.

Tessen Dagger

  • Now gives 34 Haste rating instead of 70% attack speed.

Blade of Outlaws

  • Now gives 72 Haste rating instead of 145% attack speed.

Poorman's Gloves

  • Now gives 20 Haste rating instead of 20% attack speed.

Reaper's Call

  • Now gives 130 Haste rating instead of 255% attack speed.

Skywatcher's Bracers

  • Now gives 14 Haste rating instead of 20% attack speed.

Band of Thunderland

  • Now gives 29 Haste rating instead of 40% attack speed.

Armplates of Kingsproud

  • Now gives 53 Haste rating instead of 70% attack speed.

Mystic Staff

  • Now gives 24 Haste rating instead of 40% attack speed.

Rod of Atrophy

  • Now gives 50 Haste rating instead of 85% attack speed.

Philosopher's Wand

  • Now gives 90 Haste rating instead of 150% attack speed.

Bosses

Now bosses gain stackable 10% incoming damage reduction for each hero (except the first; 5 players = 40%). Final Boss gains double bonus.

Jungle Boss

  • Added descriptions for abilities.
